in a way both are mine.
we and i are pastagang.
i also host it but that doesnt matter
because anyone could be doing that
and it would make
no difference
but this blog feels less personal.
the author isnt clearly stated.
that is good.
giving up the credit is an essential part of pastagang
because it distributes the joy evenly
and makes it better for everyone
and less hierarchical
but sometimes i do want it to be personal.
sometimes i want it to be me, explicitly, writing it.
sometimes i want to say it was me, not us.
but i also benefit from publishing it here
instead of at home
because it gets exposure
and more thoughts from others
(hopefully)
i wish there was a way to decide.
a balance that makes it trivial.
that combines it.
but that is not how it works.
i think
are there any "essential" parts of pastagang?? news to me.
-> true. i think i might be worrying too much.
also listen to episode 3 of the pastagang podcast which contains a lot about this topic if you can get it out of git: https://codeberg.org/pastagang/pastagang/src/branch/pages/podcast/03_scheffield.m4a
and also this old blog post about the same topic: https://codeberg.org/pastagang/pastagang/src/branch/pages/_posts/2025-02-24-should-i-write-a-blog.md
we love repetition i suppose
