Some slippy thoughts
i can't get the word slippy out of my head. i think everyone should be 💖 slippy 💖 and
not only when writing code.
let's make a slippy guide for everyone and every situation
Choosing a linux distro
It doesn't matter what distro you choose. The main thing is to be ready to change. Have backups, saved configs etc.
also use simple tools, don't overcomplicate things. Complications lead to less slippiness
Ownership
Prioritise ownership. You'll be more independent and thus slippy.
Plain text
Using simple .txt files that last forever will increase your slippy factor.
Simple tools
The same applies to tools. the more complicated your most important tools, the less slippy. text editor. bash scripts.
no big codebase just to make your website work. dont rely on parsing when text concatenation and replacement will do.
no complicated infrastructure. you dont need docker if you get slippy enough, because nothing is complicated enough to
warrant docker use. this is part of what makes the pastagang website so slippy.
