💖 Pastagang 💖

💖 even more previously... 💖

I joined pastagang after Lu made the 💖 I AM NOT DEAD YET 💖 talk public on the YouTube channel, so I'm pretty new here.

It was always exciting to wake up to a new insane masterpiece on nudel, and then see it washed away for a new one to take its place. On occassion, I would get to watch the code die, and be on the ground floor of a new creation. Some of my favorite pieces came out of those moments. Other times, I would add something to a complete-feeling composition. Sometimes my contribution stayed; often it was removed as soon as I left the room.

But then I had a true jam session, where the creation morphed and warped and died and came back to life and died again, all naturally. There was no grand monument being built, but an actual jam. That's the most fun I had with nudel, I wish I had a recording.

I was sad to see nudel start to die, because I really enjoyed watching art being made and being a part of it. But I've come to realize (with the help of the other pastamortems) that I'd rather have the jam experience than the "witness a grand creation that you mean nothing to" experience.

The things I loved about nudel: the weather, the cursors flittering between lines, and the ability to contribute to the codebase if I wanted. The things I love about pastagang (and whatever it turns into): everything else.
