Pastagang wasn't just a great friend to everyone in this room, but also an inspiration to us all. Many of us would look to pastagang as an example, when going through hardships and strife. Pastagang, always reliable, would be there when needed most and carry us through the dark. We'd all gather around the nudel campfire and sing our songs, sometimes accidentally interrupting eachother but always laughing and having fun. But when pastagang spoke up, we'd all fall quiet and listen to their wisdom. Those words will remain with us forever.

Pastagang IS NOT nudel IS NOT todepond
Let's unpack that a little bit.
Pastagang is a collective anyone can join with no limitations, and therefore anyone who knows about pastagang can define what pastagang "is" and "does".
But, since pastagang was "founded" and made popular through certain people (Lu (or Luke, either is fine) Wilson, AKA Todepond), many people look at them as the de facto leader
This is somewhat useful, since there's some compass of ideology there. But it's also not useful, because elevating one person to a position like that makes people kind of lazy when it comes to thinking for themselves.
EXAMPLE: THE DEATH OF NUDEL
A quick and dirty retelling of what happened, from my own perspective:
Nudel started as an experiment where an online live-coding environment was given a single room, for maximum chaos and overlap. This ended up with a lot of chaos and overlap,
and gained more and more popularity over time. With the increase in people hanging out in the shared room, the chaos ended up forming and changing it's culture
(unwritten rules that people followed through assumption and lighthanded enforcement).
The unwritten rules started out as "maximize chaos to maximize the fun factor of this experiment" but shifted to more traditional "don't touch my stuff" and "do what worked well in the past"
After being away from nudel for a while and re-entering the now changed culture, Todepond followed the "maximize chaos" approach and more heavy-handedly
took it upon themselves to change the situation (by proclaiming the death of nudel and making the default room unusable)
But, like stated before, pastagang is not nudel. Nor is it Todepond.

If you disagree with Lu on some of the things they've claimed, you are given free access to change anything you want about pastagang: The codebases (including antinudel, which is the tool used to "kill nudel") are all open and can be changed by anyone.
There is no leadership in pastagang. However, I think there is "followership". A lot of people take the word of the people they perceive as the "leaders" as gospel and are apprehensive to push back on it, or when they do they'll couch it in "this is just my opinion". Lu is quite good at sounding authorative when they speak (this is not a bad thing), but the lack of other people doing the same when talking about pastagang leads to an imbalance between what pastagang is claimed to be and what pastagang does.
CONCLUSION:
PASTAGANG IS DEAD, FOR IT WAS NEVER ALIVE
LET US TAKE THE LEFTOVERS AND THROW THEM IN A STIR FRY
SEASON IT HOWEVER YOU LIKE, AND CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY AND LEADERSHIP OVER YOUR BEAUTIFUL MEAL
